My background in marine biology influences my aesthetic vision. I am fascinated with patterns and textures found in nature, especially on the microscopic level. All pieces are stoneware fired in oxidation in an electric kiln. All glazes used in food containers (bowls, teapots, platters, mugs, etc.) are non-toxic and food safe. Because they are stoneware they are microwave and dishwasher safe.
